Google Chrome as a media player
Google Chrome is a media player. Drag an image or video file to a new tab to start playing.
If you want to watch on a bigger screen, you can take your video to the big screen by going to the Chrome settings menu and then tapping Cast. You then send the contents of your tab to a Chromecast. You will need that Chromecast.

Google has programmed an addictive little game into one of the most annoying screens on Chrome.
When Chrome warns you that it cannot connect to the Internet, just press the spacebar to start an endless T-Rex game.

Just go to “File > Reopen Closed Tab” to bring it back. On a Mac under “File > Reopen Closed Tab”.
Create an email from the address bar in Google Chrome

Type mailto: followed by your recipient's email address in the address bar. Select Enter, chrome will start your standard mail client, with the recipient already pre-populated.

Go to File > New Incognito Window to open it to visit the internet anonymously. Please note, this is not a proxy or VPN option. Your IP address can still be viewed by website administrators.
Find your Android phone
Did you know that Google Chrome can quickly find your Android phone? Type in the address bar: Find My Phone and Chrome will open a page to find your Android phone. You must be logged in with the same Google Account in both Chrome and your phone.

I'm having a problem with Chrome. Can you help me further?
The following is the case. I receive a link from my bank to a special page, their shop. I'm using Chrome, the GMail tab is open. And when I click on the link in the email, the shop opens in a new tab. So far nothing wrong. I create a shortcut on my desktop. If I click on it... opens a browser window without tabs, address bar, bookmarks, etc.
That has happened before with a link, I just don't remember which one it was. But I find it quite annoying. How do I ensure that links that open in such a window open in my standard browser window again? Help!!
