Have you also noticed that Google Chrome hides the full address of a website in the address bar?
Personally, I find it annoying that Google Chrome hides the URL. Chrome does not make it clear exactly which part of the website you are on and, in my opinion, it increases the chance of Phishing.
Hiding the entire web address in Google Chrome only happens when you are not focused on Google Chrome.
If you click in the address bar or click on a part of the website you are currently looking at, the full web address will be displayed.
If, like me, you prefer to always display the full website in Google Chrome, follow the simple steps below to fully display the web page in the Google Chrome address bar again.
Show entire website in Google Chrome address bar
These steps work for Google Chrome installed on Windows, Mac and Linux.
Right-click in the address bar where the website URL is displayed. Then click on “Always show full URLs” from the menu.
It's that simple. You now always have the full web address in the address bar of Google Chrome.
I hope this helped you. Thank you for reading!
Thanks man, handy!
