Notifications are displayed in Windows 11. These are apps that notify you of changes or other announcements. By default, a notification message in Windows 11 disappears to the action center after 5 seconds.
So you can only read the notification again in the action center after 5 seconds. However, do you need more time? Then you can delay the time after which a notification to the action center disappears.
Adjust notification time disappears
Right-click on the start button. Click on Settings in the menu. Click on Accessibility on the left. Then click on Visual Effects.
Adjust the desired time for the “Close notifications after this time” setting. By default this is 5 seconds.
