Brightness enhancement is an improvement for Xbox cloud gaming via the Microsoft Edge browser. Microsoft Edge version 103 adds a number of improvements for online gaming via the Microsoft Edge browser.

For example, improvements have been added to Microsoft Edge 103 that make gaming via the browser faster, improved graphic settings and gaming menus have been added.

One of these new improvements is “Brightness Enhancement”. Brightness enhancement is a graphics enhancement that makes images more realistic and brighter. This is done on the user's PC via the Microsoft Edge browser.

By default, brightness enhancement is disabled, you can enable it in a game by logging into Xbox Cloud gaming via the Microsoft Edge browser.

It is possible that your screen flickers briefly. That's because the graphics settings are improved. You can now start playing the game.
