Hello, if you perform a scan with Gemini you should then click on View results, then after the scan the results will be displayed by image, apps, documents, folders, video or other. You will then see exactly which files are a duplicate and you must click on this duplicate to remove it. So you have removed some Gemini yourself. You also have the option to automatically or manually select duplicates based on oldest, newest and random.
Give it a try, Gemini won't delete anything without your permission. Good luck!
