You can install Windows Terminal in two ways. The first way is via a PowerShell command, and the second is via the Microsoft Store.
Install Windows terminal via PowerShell
Search for “PowerShell” via the taskbar. Right-click on the “Windows PowerShell” result. In the menu, click on “Run as administrator”.
In the Windows PowerShell window, copy and paste the command below:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.WindowsTerminal -allusers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
After executing the above command, Terminal is installed. You can find it if you search for on your computer via search in the taskbar.
Install Windows terminal via the Microsoft Store
The Microsoft Store also offers apps that come standard with Windows such as Terminal. Open the Store.
Search for “Windows terminal” in the Store and click “install”. The installation starts and Windows Terminal is reinstalled.
