If you want to set a password for Google Chrome, you can do this with the LockPW browser extension. In this article I will explain step by step how to set a password for Google Chrome with LockPW.
Set password for Google Chrome
First of all you need the free Install LockPW browser extension in Google Chrome. Open the hyperlink and click Add to Chrome.
After installing LockPW, you need to give LockPW access to the incognito settings in Google Chrome.
Enable the “allow in incognito” option in Google Chrome for LockPW.
Now click on the LockPW extension at the top right of the Google Chrome window and select Options from the menu.
A settings menu will now appear to set a password in Google Chrome with the LockPW extension. In the right part you can enter the same password twice for Google Chrome, then click Save to save the password.
