Notifications sent by Google Chrome look and behave like pop-ups. If you click on a pop-up, the relevant website will open in a new tab.

Most notifications displayed in Google Chrome have been accepted by the user themselves. So a permission has been accepted for a relevant website, allowing Chrome to send these notifications via this website.

However, if you no longer want notifications or you have been tricked into accepting these notifications, you can remove the permission that has been added to Google Chrome. This way the notifications stop.
