Text Suggestions is a feature in Windows 11 that can help you speed up and improve typing text such as sentences and words in Windows 11. Text suggestions help you complete a suggestion while typing sentences.

When you type on a keyboard, the text suggestion feature will automatically suggest some relevant words that are more likely to match your preferred words.

For example, typing into the search box will suggest people, organizations, and other information you might be looking for based on your search terms. When you enter a search term to find favorite places, Windows 11 suggests places you've already been. So basically the text suggestion feature will predict words you are typing.

I personally find it very useful and it also works in Dutch. The more you type and use your computer, the smarter the text suggestion becomes.

  1. Thank you for your initiative.
I can't quite figure it out.
Problem: if I want to send emails to people I know (to whom I have sent emails before), on one computer I only have to type a few letters and then the correct suggestions are listed, on this computer I always have to enter entire address: lasytig.
Using the right mouse button on the Windows key to “settings”, then to time and language, and then “enabling text suggestions” does not solve the problem. What should I do?

    1. Hello, make sure you are using the same email program on both. Check the autofill settings for language and for email addresses in this mail client. Depending on which email client you use, this could make a difference.
      Success!
