Edit or clear saved password in Google Chrome

Now that we are increasingly using the internet for online shopping, logging in to secure websites and the like, the use of a username and password is becoming increasingly important.

Because we are more and more accounts and always choose a different username and password, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage these stored passwords.

If you use the Google Chrome browser, when creating a user account, Chrome will ask you to save the username and password in the Google Chrome password manager.

The password manager in Google Chrome is a secure database that can store login details per website. This way, the next time you visit a website, you do not have to enter the username and password again.

All saved passwords in Google Chrome are therefore secured and reused to help you log in faster. If you no longer use a particular website or you have deleted the user account on this website, it is advisable to periodically delete unused login details such as a password from the Chrome password manager.
