You can delete everything in Windows 10. Basically this means reinstalling Windows 10. This is not a complicated process.
It is important to note that before you proceed with uninstalling everything, Windows 10 will be installed with a clean install. This means personal data is erased and apps and settings are deleted.
For example, deleting everything is useful if you suspect that there is malware whether a virus has been installed. You can also delete everything if you delete the want to prepare your computer for sale or want to resolve software conflicts quickly.
Uninstall everything in Windows 10, reinstall
As I mentioned earlier. Uninstalling everything and reinstalling it is not a complicated process. It's a process you can start from the settings and requires virtually no technical knowledge.
Click on the Start button. In the Start menu, click on “Settings”.
Then click on “Update & security” in the settings.
Now before you continue, make sure you have backups of important files. Think of personal files in your documents folder, for example. If necessary, back this up to a external USB drive or stick.
Click on “System Restore” in the left menu and in the “Reset this PC” settings on the “Get started” button.
You will now start the process of deleting everything in Windows 10. Click “Delete All” if you are sure you want to continue. This will delete all your personal files, apps and settings.
If your Windows 10 computer is connected to the internet, I recommend redownloading Windows 10 from the Cloud. This means that Windows 10 is downloaded from Microsoft servers and then reinstalled.
If your computer is not connected to the Internet, click “Reinstall locally”. No idea? Then click on the link “help me select”.
To delete all apps, files and settings, continue. The station is not cleaned up, nor is this necessary because it is less safe. Downloading Windows 10 from the cloud consumes 4 GB of total data.
Finally, you will get an overview of what will happen if everything is deleted in Windows 10.
- All personal files and user accounts on this PC will be deleted.
- Any changes you made to the settings will be deleted.
- All apps and programs will be deleted.
- Windows 10 will be downloaded and installed again.
When you are done, click “Reset”.
Your Windows 10 PC will now be prepared to delete everything and redownload and install Windows. Your computer will restart automatically several times.
After Windows 10 is redownloaded it will be reinstalled with the most recent updates.
After this, the factory settings of this PC restored.
After the factory settings, the PC is reset and the data is deleted. This is possible, depending on the computer specifications, take about half an hour.
Once the reset is complete, Windows 10 will be reinstalled.
You can now reset Windows 10 yourself.
I hope this helped you. Thank you for reading!
