No sound in Microsoft Edge? Try these Windows 11 tips!

If you have no sound in Microsoft Edge, you are not alone. It often happens that sound problems arise with an internet browser.

To troubleshoot the sound problem, you first need to determine if there is no sound coming from just the Microsoft Edge browser, or if it is an issue within the Windows 11 operating system.

You can determine this by playing sound without a browser or with a different browser. If the sound works, the problem is in Microsoft Edge, if not, then it is a more general problem.

Select your desired audio output device by changing “Choose where to play sound” to your desired audio output device.

Choose where you want to play sound

To start, check at the top that the volume is not muted. Then select the correct output device. In the apps settings, set the volume for Microsoft Edge. Again, select the default output device or another output device.
