If you use a browser extension in the Google Chrome, Firefox or Microsoft Edge browser, then you are familiar with the functionality of this extension
To fix problems or add new functionality to an extension, a browser extension must be updated to the latest version every so often. In most cases this is an automatic process. A process that the browser settings arrange this yourself via communication with the relevant “web store”.
If you want to add new functionality or fix issues immediately, you can manually start an update action to update an extension. The latest version of the extension in question will then immediately be installed in your browser.
