Set up screen saver in Windows 11

You can set a screen saver in Windows 11 just like in previous versions of Windows.

Screen savers still have a lot of use today. Where in the past screen savers were mainly used to prevent screen burn-in, nowadays screen savers are used more to personalize the computer. Screen burn-in is no longer directly relevant with today's modern LCD and LED screens, although it still occurs.

There are many more benefits to setting up a screen saver. For example, screen savers can help save energy if you set the screen saver to shut down the computer after a period of time disables certain inactivity.

Screen protection can also help by providing privacy. It is possible to set a password after activating the screen saver. This prevents you unauthorized access to your computer.

What most people use screen savers for is to personalize their computer. This can be done by a big clock set or by a background with personal set images. This makes the screen saver your own.

  1. I recently got a miniPC with Windows 11. The program to find Bluetooth devices cannot find all kinds of devices. My other PC/smartphones and tablets can't see these devices. Where is the mistake?
