In taskbar you will find the widgets button. The widgets button gives you immediate insight into the weather, traffic situation, local news and more.
If you have the language or want to change region in the widgets, you can display news etc. from another country. This keeps you informed of local news, weather, etc. from this region.
By default, the widget's language is displayed in the same language in which Windows is installed. You can change the language of the widget as follows.
Change widgets language in Windows 10 or Windows 11
Click on the widget in the taskbar. Then click on your profile at the top right.
Click on “Manage interests” at the bottom left of the widgets settings.
Depending on the language set in the widget's feed, click “Personalization” at the top of the menu. For example, in English it says “Experience settings”.
In the language and content settings, select the desired language for the content of the widgets feed. The language you select here determines the language and content of the feed.
You now need to restart the computer to display the language and region set for the widgets feed. After the restart, you will see the language and content from the desired region.
If the language and region for the widgets are not yet displayed properly, you must also adjust the region in Windows.
To adjust the region, right-click on the Start button. In the menu click on “Settings”. Then click on “time and language” in the settings. After this, click on “language & region”. Then select the desired region from the list.
All Windows apps, including the widgets, will now use this Windows region for their display.
