If there is a stuck application that is affecting system performance, you can use Windows 11 Task Manager to end the application process. Windows Task Manager is a tool for monitoring and managing system components and programs.

If you get into the situations where a application not responding and is in a frozen state, you can use Task Manager to force close the stuck process that is slowing down your PC. There are other apps you can use to end a task in Windows 11, but Windows Task Manager is simple, efficient, and already installed.

It can be frustrating when you have a program that won't respond. Instead of shutting down your PC to regain control, which could cause you to lose your work, you can simply force close the problem application or process using the Task Manager. This is how it works.
