Task manager has been an essential part of the Windows operating system since Windows NT (Windows 2000).
Windows task manager allows users to view tasks (“processes”), starting programs, services, and the overall performance of the computer.
Task Manager has several tabs that offer different features and uses. In Windows 11 and in Windows 10, the Task Manager offers the following tabs: Processes, Performance, App History, Startup, Users, Details, and Services.
You can use all these different tabs to monitor, adjust or close the performance of different components in Windows. You will not only see different components, but also a limited performance and history view of hardware that is part of your computer.

Good morning,
I have seen that there is quite a lot under the task manager button.
This does not disappear when the PC is shut down, doesn't it continue to consume the PC's battery in the background?
I can't delete items either.
curious about your answer
best regards

Dear sir, after an update by WinZip, the second monitor no longer works.
It is not on the monitor because I checked it on another PC.
I hope you can inform me what I can do to solve the problem.
Yours faithfully,
Hello, I think it's likely that WinZip is the cause. This is compression software and has no relation to drivers or the display. If you are in doubt, you can uninstall WinZip and restart your computer.
Here are additional tips for a second monitor:

Success!Dear Stefan, thank you for the quick response, I forgot to indicate that the PC software is Windows 11.
Could there possibly be a float problem?
Thank you
Hello, that is possible. I searched again and you probably use; WinZip driver updater. This program updates drivers. Read the following article to roll back a possible display driver:

Dear Stefan, problem solved by restoring Windows 10.
In any case, thank you very much for your effort.
